Travel information

To Bergen By Plane

Fly directly to Bergen airport Flesland from Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Amsterdam, London and many other main airports in Europe. Remember to book the flight with Bergen Airport Flesland as the final destination.

Do not choose any other airports in western Norway when planning the journey to AGM2022

Bergen Airport Flesland is located 18 kilometers south of Bergen. The airport bus departs every 15 - 20 minutes and takes about 30 minutes to the Bergen city center. The airport bus takes you all the way to the AGM Hotels.

You can also take the Bergen Light Rail (Bybanen) from the airport to the city center.

You can read more about how to get from the airport to the city and book fare tickets online here

Q & A

1. Why are hotels less expensive on booking pages on the internet than on the AGM sign-up page?
When organizer reserve a large number of rooms, the average price is higher than the lowest prices on internet. Price will then be equal for everyone who signs up regardless time of booking.
You can also find alternative hotels on the AGM-sign-up page. and also have many options in walking distance from conference hotel if you want more affordable alternatives.

2. Can we find an overview of registration status?
We are no allowed to post lists due to GDPR regulations. But we have created a facebook group for the event where people can confirm their participation in the event.

3. How long is the registration open?
Until 15h of March 2022

4. How to travel from airport to hotel?
There is a Airport Bus service (direct to AGM-hotel, cost approx. NOK 120) or light rail (approx. 500 metres from AGM-hotel, approx. NOK 40,-). More information: Transportation to and from the airport is the only need for transportation. Everything else within short walking distance of the hotel. This also applies to many hotels in Bergen city centre.

5. If not delegate? Is it possible to sign up for AGM meetings + attend a meeting and get lunch on Saturday?
Yes, you must register as a delegate. You will then have access to the AGM service during the meeting and lunch with delegates.

6. Can two "single participants" share a double room?
Yes, make a note when you register in the message box "shared room" and the name of the person you want to share a room with.

7. What is included in the AGM price?
Friday: Welcome party at the AGM hotel incl. Great entertainment/music. Food from the hotel kitchen. Technical support and technical equipment etc.
We try hard to give free drink tickets to Friday welcome party, but we need a certain number of participants to cover fixed costs. So how much depends on the number of people who register. The more the better.
Saturday: Gala dinner incl. fantastic entertainment and music. We have booked a live band that most certainly will make the evening perfect. We also include a welcome drink + wine package with the dinner.
We have booked the great hall in the AGM Hotel for the gala, so it is no need for transport.

We will do our best to provide great experiences for the sign-up fee.

8. Where is the AGM-hotel located in Bergen?
In downtown Bergen, with very short distances to other hotels, sights etc.
All AGM activities are at the AGM Hotel. The AGM Hotel is located at Bryggen (on the World Heritage List), a historic harbour district in Bergen, one of North Europe’s oldest port cities on the west coast of Norway which was established as a centre for trade by the 12th century.

9. What is included in the "Delegate" sign-up fee?
